The shuttle busses will be picking up at the Malcom Hotel at 3:00pm on Friday, August 21st. For people not staying at the hotel, you can walk/uber/drive to the Malcom hotel and pick up the shuttle! The ceremony then promptly starts at 4:00pm.

As of 2025, the CAD exchange rate to USD is 0.71, which means the CAD is ~30% cheaper, which we like to think of as a “30% discount!”

  • Will I need to get Canadian cash?

Only if you want to, but Canada takes major credit cards almost everywhere, so cash shouldn’t be needed.

  • I have a criminal record, am I allowed in Canada?

As of December 2018, Canada does not allow United States residents into the county if they have a criminal record. In order to enter they country, you will need to get a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) with the RNMP, this can be done online and comes with a fee.
